App Store icon is missing.

App Store icon is missing from iPad 3 IOS 6.1.

I've tried restrictions, reset all and restore.

but App Store is still missing.

Any information or suggestion, please let me know.

I had similar problem with my iPhone 6 Plus. After lots of googling, I could fix it by myself. Here is how I did it:

Go to Setting> Restrictions (On)> Enter you pass code if you have one> Under Allow you will see" Installing Apps" side to green, “Deleting Apps”> Slide to green, and “In-App Purchase”> Keep it white.

Push the home button and you will see “App Store” icon on your main screen.

Settings>General>Restrictions>Installing Apps

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout

Try reset iPad

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Note: Data will not be affected.

Suggest you backup and setup as new.

Make sure you see the App Store icon before you restore from backup.

Actually I've restored already.

but still missing after restore .

and how could preview App Store icon before restore from backup ?

When you setup as new, you should be able to see all the pre-installed apps including App Store.

KyawKo, did you by any chance bought a demo iPad?

i don't know what do you mean , demo iPad ?

I have the same issue. I finally found it in the App Store icon. I typed iTunes Store in the app search and there it was. I still haven't figured out how to move it the home screen though.

Once I disabled the restrictions my apps store icon popped right back and then I applied the restrictions again, but did not loose the apps store icon. Thanks a ton for such a helpful suggestion.
