How can I re

I recently had to move all of my music to an external HD and load everything into iTunes again. I have all of my podcasts within the iTunes Media> Podcasts folder on this HD. I now want to add all of these back to iTunes (I also wan't to re-subscrbe to them). When I drag them to 'Podcasts' on the menu nothing happens.

How should I achieve this?

I don't know why it's not working, like you said, you should be able to drag them onto the Podcasts section and if they were downloaded through iTunes they should be added correctly. You can try clicking File>Add to Library… as well.

Yes, I have found that if you select 'add folder' as suggested, you can have previously downloaded podcasts 'read' into Itunes.  You can also select the file in DOS/PC and 'open with' itunes.
