Galaxy s7 phone not working with Mac..?

Hey, I'm trying to "empty" my phone pics from my Galaxy s7 onto my Mac (Sierra), but when I plug it in and pull up the Android File Transfer, it just says "Could not connect to your device" or "Cannot access device" (my phone is not locked when I do this, even though it sometimes says "device is locked).

I've tried accessing the "Developer Options" and choosing different USB Configuration choices, but that isn't working either...*sigh*.  My phone is completely full and I can't take anymore video, pics, nor make updates!   What can I do to empty my Galaxy s7 pics and video onto my Mac?

Try this app (free): you can access the contents of the phone from any browser and download them to your Mac.

Hello there! Have you solved this problem already? If not, you can try other file sharing app like AirMore. It is a free app that works to move files between Samsung/Android and Mac. You can use this without restriction and limitation. So check it out.
