HELP! some keyboard keys not working on MacBook

Hi fellas,

It's been weeks now, some of the keys on my MacBook keyboard are not working. Mostly 'r', 't', 'y', 'u', 'i', and it happen quite often. I've been searching the internet regarding this matter, most of them were from 2011-2014, nothing recent.

I've tried what most of the suggestions on the web said, such as:

  1. Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Sources > adding and deleting the source of the language.
  2. Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Sources > adding and switching between keyboard layout from this to that.
  3. Apple > System Preferences > Accessibility > Keyboard > checking off the 'Enable Sticky Keys'.
  4. Click 'Alt' 5 times to turn on the Mouse Keys, and click again 5 times to turn it off.

Basically, they work pretty well but only temporarily, means the problem would appear sometime in a minute or so. What's this? why no one complains about this recently? all the suggestions and problems are from people several years back.

Specification:

  • MacBook Pro 13" mid 2012
  • Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
  • Memory 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
  • Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB
  • MacOS Sierra 10.12.6
