my password is wrong all of a sudden l

So as I'm trying to log back into my MacBook (it's the 2009 version) my password is wrong all of a sudden like I've tried it so many times & indifferent ways & even tried my old passwords but I literally just changed it a few days ago... I don't know what happened please help ;(
