I am ex pc and am used to being able to create folders which are project specific not file type and will hold whatever I choose to put in it, is this possible on iPad or is everything app specific?

You can't create folders for files like you are used to doing, but there are apps that are compatible for various different files types that you can download but it still isn't like creating folders and adding any type of files that you want.

I use Documents 6 by Readdle which is an app that is a file manager type app.
