60W USB
got a late 2016 15" mbp, and I'd like to know whether the 85W for charging are mandatory or not when connected to a usb-c monitor, or will monitors will a lower output also work ???
And please, don't bother me with with official anwsers... thanks, yes, I can use Google, too...
My question is: will a 60w monitor do the job, just slower, or is that going to make problems, and if yes, what problems, and why ? Under normal 'office' usage, I can't believe the mbp 15" uses more than 60w... and the choice of usb-c monitors that can provide 85w or more is so limited, it's almost ridiculous (and yes, I want & need more than 27" !)
