How to access different zones in EXS24

Hi Guys;

When I open the Violins 2 patch in the EXS and click on edit I see many other zones

VI2-L_legato_f

etc

etc

etc

VI2_stac_upbow

When I press my keyboard keys all I can access is the legato zone.

I've tried opening the smart controls but that didn't seem to help.

Do I just access them by switching to the different articulations in the EXS 24

or is there a different more 'on the fly' way?

If someone could shed a little light on this that would be great.

Hi

The Violins 2 EXS Instrument has the zones organised in Groups. In the EXS Editor, select Group and View>Group>Select Group by'. The 'articulation group' can be switched using MIDI CC1 ( Mod wheel).

There is also a Violins 2+ Instrument, which switches articulations using the Articulation ID parameter.

I was able to switch with the ModWheel but no luck with the Articulation IDs

I went to the manual for extra help with Articulation IDs but to no avail.

I need to find a better resource for Articulation ID help than the manual clearly

But now after all my poking around with this the F on my midi keyboard doesn't play the note, it just changes the attack on the EXS24.

How do I clear this and start again?

I still have this problem with the F note I mentioned above. Is there a way to reset what mess I've made?

It affects different parameters on different synths. And doesn't actually play the note
