My App Store icon is missing from home screen h...

on my iPad mini, the App Store icon is missing from all screens. How do I get this back?

In Settings, General, check the Restrictions section. You'll probably find that 'Installing Apps' is deselected.

Spotlight search is an amazing tool. Just pull down from the home screen to reveal the search bar and start typing whatever you're looking for.
