How do I upgrade Pages on my iPad from 2.0 to t...

I am unable to upgrade Pages (2.0) to the latest version on my iPad.  When I go the the App Store, I see Pages and it says "OPEN". That version is 2.0.  Please help.

It says it require ios 10 if you have an older version maybe that is why

If your iPad is an older model iPad on iOS 9.3.5 or earlier an older version of Apple's iWork apps is what is up to date.

The latest versions of Apple's iWork apps are iOS 10 and later compatible.

You should make sure to backup your iPad to a computer running the latest version of iTunes, if you can, to make sure you retain the versions of Pages, Numbers and Keynote you currently have on your iPad.

If you somehow ever lose these versions, you will never be able to get these older versions back.

Apple never retains older versions of its own apps on their iOS App Store servers.
