Macbook pro heats up with HDMI to 4k exte...

Dear People,

I have Macbook pro early 2015 with 8GB RAM and 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

GPU : Intel Iris Graphics 6100

OS : sierra 10.12

external Monitor: LG 27UD88-w

Using HDMI in normal work it is fine but watching HD video 720p (not 4k) heats up my macbook

The process : Windowserver process.

My question: will this be a problem if I purchase thunderbolt 2 to Display port 1.2 (since my external monitor supports it)
