Beware of Barclaycard shady payment options

I bought three Apple products using Barclay's Deferred Financing Promotion - 18 months no interest. The first one expires in April 2018, the second in October 2018 and the third in November 2018. I am all set to pay each balance in full by the promotion's expiration date, but Barclay is dividing my payment among the three balances randomly, so, unless I pay all three balances in full by the April 2018, I will be charge all the "gotcha" total deferred interest charge. I called their customer service, and was informed that they have no control over how my payment is managed, claiming "federal regulations". Nowhere these regulations are disclosed. How can that be? I know we live in a corporocracy, but there have to be some ways to fight back.

(I am posting here as there is no community for problems with financing...)
