Kannada language font display bug

Just found a kannada language font display bug in iOS..

When a word ends in a half ra ( Unicode 0CB0) + halant (Unicode 0CCD) , iOS incorrectly displays the arka/ reph symbol ( Unicode 0CEF). The correct form of rendering this should be similar to the form ಕ್ , except that the base consonant  ಕ should be replaced by the base consonant ರ

When the words twitter or distributor are written in the kannada font, they display incorrectly on iOS devices, but display correctly on windows

To make sure Apple sees this info, post it at

(This bug is present in the Kannada Sangam font used in iOS.   The Kannada MN font available in OS X works OK.)

Hi Tom,

This bug is still present in iOS 10.1.1. I am not sure if Apple is working to fix this issue or not.

How can I change the default display font for Kannada to Kannada MN font on macOS Sierra?

Thanks.

BBest search google for that.  One result

This issue is fixed in iOS11 beta 7. Not sure if they have changed to new Kannada font.

It took 10 years to fix this basic issue! Nevertheless, thanks to Apple for fixing this.
