Slow Keychain on 2016 Macbook Pro with Touch Bar

Hello,

With the new Macbook Pro 2016 (Touch Bar) the keychain became very slow.

Any search query or even clicking on show password, will bring up the spinning wheel. Overall everything takes longer, I'm migrating from a Macbook 12".

Is this related to the use of the new chip with secure enclave, is anybody experiencing the same problem?

Same here. Copying a password to my clipboard shows me the spinning wheel for 1-2 seconds. I can't stand it.

I've contacted Apple, they asked for the logs.

Waiting for their reply, I will let you know if there is a fix...

Just chiming in to say I've got this issue too.  I've done a full reinstall of the OS, and tried across multiple new users.  IT seems to only happen if I enable my iCloud Keychain (about 1500 keys), but the same keychain, synced to a 2013 MBP on the same OS version doesn't cause any problems.  For what it's worth, I filed radar 30027368.  Curious if anyone has a fix.

I've opened same ticket regarding keychains lags on 26th November, 2016 with applecare supervisor. Since then he is just ignoring my emails. I've submitted all logs but nothing. Good to know I'm not the one who is facing same issue.

Reinstallation won't help, don't lose your time.

Same here. driving me crazy. don't have this delay on multiple other Macs I own that are also sharing this keychain.

What's going on with this...so weird! Didn't buy a MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar so I could wait 5 seconds before autofilling a password.....

13" MBP with touch bar and having the same issue. Anyone have any luck getting Apple to acknowledge or fix the issue?

Yep - I just got off an hour call with Apple Senior Support today. They filed a case and asked for 2-3 business days and they'll give me an update. Calling this an emerging bug. I'll keep everyone updated.
