Does the Time Machine back up copy the emails a...

I am going to upgrade the hard drive on my wife's MacBook (late 2010 version).  She has a lot of mail in her MAIL application because she subscribes to many daily messages.  She does not want to lose this content.  If I run a full Time Machine backup to a storage drive and then use macOS Recovery after I replace the hard drive, will I still have that mail content?

Yes. It worked for me the last time I upgraded.

Yes.

If it’s stored on the computer, it’ll be part of the backup unless manually excluded.

If it’s stored on the mail server, logging in with the same username and password will display it.
