Shuffle Disable Not Working on 7th generation nano

I have a 7th generation nano and whenever I want to just play my list of songs in alphabetical order, turning off shuffle at top of song list doesn't work. The shuffle icon is white and shuffle shake is disabled. I've tried all the suggestions such as go to Now Playing page and try to swipe, but the shuffle icon never appears. When I go to Settings/Music there is no shuffle icon just Shake to Shuffle, which is off. None of the techniquest I have tried have worked. Can anybody help?

I have had the same problem and had to resort to going to ‘Return to Factory Settings’ in the About My Ipod area and do a total reset. That solved the shuffle problem for me. Good luck.
