Sound stopped working

Had a speaker plugged in, was working fine. I took it out once I was finished, now my sound isn't working. Tried plugging headphones in, speaker jacks, etc. Sound does play through some of my TV's though. Updated to the newest version of el captain, no luck, so switched over to sierra, still no luck. Restarting, shutting down, etc no luck, any help is appreciated.
