Alternate usernames

Depending on what Google products you use, you may see more than one username in your Google Dashboard or My Account page. Below are some of the usernames you might see. 

Alternate email address 
You can use your alternate email address to sign in to your Google Account, and also to recover your password.

If you've added an alternate email address to your account, you'll see it displayed under Email in the "Personal info & privacy" section of the My Account page. 

To edit (or add) your alternate email address:

  1. Sign in to My Account. 
  2. Under “Personal info & privacy,” select Your personal info. 
  3. Choose Email. 
  4. Under "Other emails," select Edit.
  5. Type in a new email address, or remove unwanted email addresses.
  6. Select Save.
