upgrading harddrive in late 2012 mac pro
I am looking at upgrading my hard drive (SSD) in my macbook pro 13 inch late 2012 retina (A1425) to a Seagate 1 TB laptop SShd hybrid 2.5 inch.
from what i have read online this hard drive will fit my model laptop. I am aware that i will be sacrificing speed for space. Is there any adaptors or trays i need to purchase to go from the SSD connector to a SATA? also what is the process for installing the operating system to my new hard drive once i get it? thanks in advanced.

It will NOT fit your retina MBP. What you may have read is incorrect. The storage modules are physic ally different.
If you want to increase storage, try OWC:
Ciao.
Did you replace the drive? I think an adapter is required, but I can't find information about this. I want to do the same thing.
