Why My MacBook Pro Late 2013 is lagging signifi...

I have a MacBook Pro late 2013 15inch that I bought exactly a year ago. Lately it have been lagging A LOT whenever I plug it into the power adapter to charge it. Everything lags and becomes extremely slow when its plugged in (UI, gaming fps)

I've looked online for a solution for a while now and I can't seem to find anyone who's facing the exact same problem as I am, so I hope that someone out here can help me find a solution because this is my one and only PC that I own and its my only goto device for anything that I wanna do ):

I installed an app to monitor my MacBook temperature and its always at 40-55 Celsius while I'm casually using it (watching youtube, surfing the web) as a matter of fact its at 46C right now as I'm writing this and I only have Chrome and Skype open, I'm guessing that's a little bit high for just these two simple apps running?

I tried resetting SMC and PRAM with no results, I installed windows 7 through bootcamp hoping that the issue might be software related but nothing changed in windows either, so what is it?

Nothing have happened to my MacBook prior to this problem that might have caused it, I just woke up one day and my MacBook started acting slow whenever its plugged in for no reason, my trackpad stopped clicking in all the way down as well, don't know if that might be any useful information?

So what could the problem be and what should I do? and please don't suggest that I take it to an apple store or genius bar because those don't exist in my country :/
thanks in advance.

Check in particular whether "kernel_task" is using high CPU when the adapter is connected.

Thank you for your answer and

Yes, kernel_task is using high CPU when I plugged it into the charger! it was using only around 2% and now its 629% when i plugged into the charger!! what the heck is happening here? why is this happening and what can I do about it?

I replaced my charger few weeks ago because the cable broke, so I don't think replacing the charger will fix my problem because it was occurring with my older charger as well as this brand new one..although the problem might have started around the time the old charger broke, so is it possible that my old charger had any impact on my MacBook that caused this problem? what should I do now? thanks in advance.

If kernel_task hogs the processor only on AC power, charging is causing the machine to heat up. That behavior may be normal for some models, but it may also be an indication of a hardware fault.

Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, though not very reliable, is sometimes able to detect a fault. For more thorough hardware testing, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

If nothing is wrong with the hardware, then whatever you can do to improve cooling may help.

I tried Apple Diagnostics and it didn't detect any issues at all and as I mentioned above I don't have a genius bar or an apple store..

I have an app called UltraFan and it controls the fans speed and tells the overall temperature of the MacBook and the temperature doesn't rise at all when I plugin the charger..is there any solutions I can try?

I tried resetting SMC and PRAM multiple times with no use..

Then it's either normal or a hardware fault, as I wrote earlier.

Hey, were you able to find out what caused this issue? I have the same laptop as yourself and recently when I plug it into a charger with an external monitor, the kernel_task shoots up and it becomes extremely laggy.

I usually use my laptop for app development and can run android studio with the android emulator without any issues at all.

I did notice one thing though, a few days ago when i connected my charger to the macbook, the orange and green light didn't come on. Instead, the battery indicator at the top showed that the macbook wasn't charging and it was running from the charger... I am not sure if that might be related, but it started this problem after i had that issue.
