How to speed up the account recovery process!

So, 1 week ago I decided to switch from the IPhone 6 to the 7. I decided to backup all my photos, contacts etc. and just switch it over with the new device. (Clarifying, I also changed phone numbers as well.) So I decided to log in with my iCloud account but it said it need verification so it sent out a text to my old phone number, I can't really access it like ever again and I decided to start my account recovery process and it told me that it would take 1 do for the request to go in, so I said ok, I'll wait. Now it's on the 3rd day to process it and I had to make a new iCloud just to access my phone.

Help?!
