Solved Error 500: ........

When accessing certain (financial) sites I received this error on a blank page: (SAFARI)

Error:500 cannot access....testdomestic.html.

The Account will not open.

The problem relates to iCloud storage of Favorites and link expiration.

If a user gets this error, delete the Favorites Link to the site, close browser and reopen the site

using the URL. You should be able to access your online account.

I requested community help the other day and none of the suggestions worked.

Please note, although I reformatted hard disk and reinstall Sierra, the step may have been a bit of overkill.

Try the solution above before wasting time reformatting and reinstalling.
