I need to make a music box that plays one song ...

I need to make a music box for a project. The premise of the box is that you push a button and a song from a pre-selected playlist will play. After the song is done, the music will stop until the button is pressed again, at which it will play another song from the playlist. Does anyone know how to set up an iPhone or even a laptop to do this?
