Way too many copies of Mail drafts saved to my ...

I am working in Mail on on MacBook Pro in OS 10.12.5.

Whenever I search through my Mail account for an email, I have to search through every saved draft of an email. This adds up to literally dozens and dozens of drafts for the same email and it becomes extremely cumbersome to search through Mail for an old (final) email. It is really annoying. Once I send an email I want all drafts to be deleted. How can I stop his problem from occurring?

Check Mail/Preferences/Accounts/Mailbox Behaviors and make sure Drafts is set to your account and not On My Mac Drafts.

I have my drafts set to my account and I still have to search through 20-30 drafts to find the real email.  Its extremely frustrating.
