Aix related
1. Login the HMC(hardware manage system)
2. system manage -> server -> (the machine)
3. Select the lpar u need, check it.
4. Click the >> needby the lpar -> contral windows -> open terminal
the terminal can show the boot screen while the normal telnet can’t.
P.S. While u can’t see the login screen. Press Ctrl+C, maybe the terminal can’t choose the type automatically.

If no enough space, use smitty , SSM -> FS -> A/D/C -> Enhance -> C/S -> (address) -> add no. of units
Update:
use smitty update_all, or select update in smitty
