Cannot add accounts to Mail

Hi,

It's been 2 days trying to find a solution to this. A little background, I am an online teacher and while teaching, I had a technical problem so the a Tech from the teaching company controlled my mac (online) using Teamviewer to try to solve the issue. I remembered he was tweaking the settings for the internet and I cant understand some. After 30 mins, he wasnt able to solve the problem and left. Then minutes after, A pop up from Mail saying "please enter password for (account)" then when I try to do so, the Mail app just keeps on loading. Tried to delete the account and add it again, it wont finish loading (attached the photos). I can't even connect to the App Store. I really need help ASAP

I had this same issue. I was able to fix it by going to System Preferences, Internet Accounts, select your account, add mail back in. Then go and check mail and it should start to download your email.

If that doesn't work, you can try and delete that account from your internet accounts and add it back.
