Logging into iCloud

Every time I go to iCloud to check my emails I have to log in even after I clicked the keep me signed in button.

Where are specifically logging in?  Are you doing so at www.icloud.com?

I click the iCloud icon which takes me to www.icloud. Before I was able to stay logged in for about 2 weeks now it's everytime.

I think it's just a precautionary measure to keep your account safe.
