Fan not kicking in at high temperatures
Hi All,
Recently bought an apple refurbished (early march) 2015 13.3inch MacBook Pro. It's running Mac OS Sierra v10.12.6 and has the baseline specs with 256gb of disk space. I've been having trouble with it heating up to high temperatures (up to 96c), and the fans noticeably don't speed up. The fan idles at around 1300rpm and only speeds up to 1400rpm when its at high temperatures. I've tried an smc and pram reset but haven't been able to fix the problem. Are these normal temperatures to be running? Are there any fixes?
