How to upgrade macbook hard drive.

Hi, friends this time am using macbook pro core i7 4th generation with sierra 10.16.6 version. And i have 256Gb SSD Drive. So can i upgrade this drive. I mean i remove 256Gb SSD and Install New SSD with 500Gb?

What year is it? Most newer ones are onboard. You get the year from 'About this Mac' under the little Apple icon in the top left corner. Also see Identify your MacBook - Apple Support to get your MacBook specs and see if it onboard.

Visit OWC where you can find the upgrade for the SSD as well as RAM. Apple will not perform such upgrades so you will need to do it yourself. OWC provides parts, step by step instructions, and the needed tools. I have used them myself and highly recommend them.
