i am being charged for the same app three times

Both my children downloaded an app "Hooked". I paid for the initial downloads on Aug 8 & 14 $4.19 each.  Then I was charged on August 28 twice for $8.38 for the app.  Want to know why?

Look in the App description. It very very likely has in-app purchases or an associated subscription.

 

If this is the App you are referring to:  HOOKED - Chat Stories on the App Store

 

Then the app itself is free, but does have different subscription packages with extra cost.
