5k screen scaling and image quality
I have just bought a 2017 27" 5K iMac, mainly to process photos in Lightroom.
At the default resolution the side panels in Lightroom are uncomfortably small for me.
Changing the scaling to the one for larger text (2048x1152) from default (2560x 1440) works really well.
But I notice the 1:1 view is larger at this resolution than the default 1:1 which leads me to think that images are also now being scaled...
When looking closely at screenshots of a photo at both resolutions I cannot see any loss of quality.
So the question is: is there is a loss of quality viewing images at a non standard resolution?
