How did my safari get hacked?

Hi. You downloaded some Javascript or other web device. Try Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Then restart the iPad; power off, not just sleep.

Remove the Safari's cache, cookies and history (from Safari's preferences pane).

If you are going to sites with explicit content then expect misleading garbage

 

if your ipad was not jailbroken to begin with there are no "hacks" out there for iOS. If it was you are on your own.
