Browser popups on wrong screen

Since upgrading to Sierra (I don't remember this being an issue before) and when a second monitor is connected, all browser popups are now loading on the main screen and not the screen that the browser is located in.  I have a pretty large ultrawide screen as my second screen so it's a bit of a hassle to mouse over to the other screen to accept or acknowledge the popup.  I mostly use Chrome but this happens in all browsers.

Hello, kk1nd3r.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

I understand popups are loading on the adjacent screen and not the screen the App is running on. I do have a few suggestions that may help. When you get the popup, try dragging the popup to the screen you prefer. You can also use F3 to open up Mission Control to move the popup to the screen you prefer.

Right click on the dock icon for the App and select "Options"  You will see, "Assign To Desktop 1 Or 2 (Desktop 2 is typically your secondary display).

Lastly, you can mirror the monitor and then uncheck mirror monitor, doing this will reset the windows adjusted for two displays.

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!

Thank you so much.

This one solved my issues: Right click on the dock icon for the App and select "Options"  You will see, "Assign To Desktop 1 Or 2 (Desktop 2 is typically your secondary display).

I just got a Mac Book Pro running Sierra which is connected to 2 external Dell monitors via a Startech

Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort Adapter and I have the problem where apps keep opening windows on my laptop screen rather than the other screens. I tried looking for the setting you pointed out under options but I don't see that.
