iMessage will not let me log in with my Apple ID

my iMessages will not let me use my apple id. i tried everything with the date and time and viewed a certain apple support page multiple times. I have turned off my messages, restarted my phone and turned them back on, that did not work. I even made a new apple id and it still wont let me log in, all it does is stay on the loading page or say an error has occurred. It even will not let me log into messages from my macbook. I have no clue what to do anymore.
