Apple ID problems

Ever since adding two factor authentication, my iMac (circa 2014 27" core i7) at work has been stuck in a loop asking for my iCloud password. This doesn't seem to affect my access to mail or other iCloud features but the pop-up dialog box just keeps popping up endlessly.
