How can I add Catalan to my MacBook Air

My MacBook Air doesn't have the Catalan language installed, i.e. it's NOT one of the language input sources I can select (however, it is there on my MacBook Pro). 

When I type an email, therefore, my Mac automatically corrects the spelling to another language's (Spanish) spelling, which is really annoying. 

Does anyone know a user-friendly way for me to download Catalan to add it to my MacBook Air's input sources?  You would save me a lot of frustration if you know the answer to this one!
