How to improve trackpad palm rejection MacBook Pro ?

too bad--it's so annoying I'm tempted to get rid of the machine

That's bad, it's becoming a real problem.

The trackpad size makes the laptop almost unusable as a standalone machine... did apple do user testing with these? I prefer using my 2015 MBP to be honest. Worried about whats going down at apple but still love most of their devices.
