Itunes Could Not Connect To Iphone.....

Well, I see this a problem. I'm curious, why. I just purchased a nice pre-owned Iphone 6 Plus, plugged into my Imac 12,1 running itunes 11.4. Iphone 6 Plus running 10.3.3. Imac running 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. I've reset the phone, rebooted everything, then I tried my old Iphone 5 and it did the same thing. So, i guess there's a software issue. Is this being fixed or is there a fix. Apple how could you.
