is 4 RAM fine for Logic?

So I loaded up a Logic Pro 10.3.2 project. over 30 tracks with compressors, eqs and various plug ins, automation on lots of the tracks.

On my main computer, a Macbook pro i7 Quad Core, 2.8ghz 16gbRAM works fine of course....

So I tried the same project on my 2009/10 old Macbook Pro, Dual core 2.20ghz with 4 gb RAM

NO PROBLEM At all, set at a buffer size of 512.

Do we really need more than 4gbRAM for Logic?
