Logic Board Failure of MacBook Air 13 inch afte...

I have purchased Mac book air 13 inches on 10.10.15. Suddenly I found the device is not switching on, however, it started working after smc reset. After 7 days I could not start the device even after smc reset. Yesterday (16.08.2016) visited authorised service centre M/s B2X Service soulutions Private Limited, New Town, Kolkata, India but they have refused diagnosis the issue same day and retain the device for diagnosis the issue. I got mail 2nd half of the next day I need to replace mother board, which is affected due to liquid ingress on mother board. The cost of replacement is INR 44935.00. This was really surprise to me as I have used the computer at home without any risk of liquid falling on it. It was shocked to me when they said it can happen due to moisture ingress even it is used in air conditioned room. If it is true then Apple should have disclaimer in use of MacBook Air in air conditioned room. This is not expected from a brand like Apple. I am using Apple devices but it has really shocked me. How Apple can sale a product, which is vulnerable even it is used in air conditioned room?

What you appear to be asking is how can anyone sell anything if it can potentially break? Since the terms we agreed to include a clause to avoid discussions regarding Apple policy which would include why Apple would sell a product that could potentially have a problem at sometime or not you would need to ask Apple

My question is whether the same problem encountered by other users due to design issue. If so, whether Apple will offer free replacement/repairing.

It has nothing to do with a design issue. (All) electronics and moisture/water do not mix well. Here are the specs from a Macbook Air which include the relative humidity:

I am using other devices of Apple like i-phones, i-pad in India for last 3-4 years in same environmental conditions/ relative humidity. Is Mac book Air is more vulnerable to relative humidity as compared other devices?

Having supported a number of desktop and laptops for longer than I ever anticipated and from every vendor you could imagine the answer is:

No. The MacBook Air is not more vulnerable to relive humidity as compared to other devices.

Please remember that you are arguing your point with other users here. We are not Apple employees and we are not privy to Apple's design nor any other policy decisions. You would need to take this to Apple.

As per diagonisis and discussion with Apple authorised service centre that the MacBook Air logic board can also be affected by humidity  even in air conditioned room. I believe humidity is more controlled in air conditioned room. The same issue is encountered by other users of MacBook reported in the community. I have used other computers of different brands for ages and never encountered the failure of mother board due to relative humidity in India. It is very difficult to believe that MacBook mother board will be crashed post 7months of expiry of warranty. Therefore, Apple needs to look into the customer issue, if not already taken corrective/preventive actions.

As I said, telling us - other users - will not help. If you wish to address this with Apple, you need to contact Apple.
