Logic Pro X: Go To Last Locate Position

I am having a sudden issue with the 'Go To Last Locate Position' key command in Logic Pro X (v10.3.1).  I'm narrating an audio book, and needed to use quick key commands for punch-and-roll recording.  So, I have 'R' for Record, 'space' for Stop, and 'T' for 'Go To Last Locate Position'.  This was working great on my last book. 

A couple weeks later, I go to use this, and 90% of the time, 'T' is taking me back to a point preceding where my cursor last was.  In some cases, if it took several takes, I might have initially clicked a spot that wasn't precise enough, and clicked again somewhere else.  This should have reset the cursor, but then when I use the 'T' command, it jumps back to that original position, not the last.

This is a global issue, across all projects now.  I'm stuck, and need to be able to reliably use this.  Any thoughts?
