Error loading kernel cache (0x6) problem
Hi!
Im experiencing some trouble with my macbook pro 2012.
It all started with the computer shutting down and when started again I get the white screen, apple symbol kind of glitching and showing a circle with a line drawn in it. I turn it of, and then later it works again. This problem occurs a few days later and I start to research the problem.
I remove my hard drive and access it via an external adapter to transfer my files. I erase the hard drive (a samsung SSD 840, 256gb) and re install OS. When the computer restarts I get white screen, apple symbol, the circle with a line in it and a folder with a question mark.
I reboot pressing cmd + v and get the following message which keeps on loading on the screen. It was very hard for me to make out what it said, but I managed to take a picture of it and typed it down for you to see below.
EDIT: I´ve already tried to reset PRAM, used the Disk Utility to repair/verify and it says it is okay. I´ve been running Yosemite without any problems what so ever. I´ve exchanged the RAM and HDD a long time ago so no issues there.
Im not really sure what caused this, and are eager to get my macbook working again. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I tried erasing the hard drive again and re installing OS but it did not work :/

Hello,
I have a MacBook Pro mi2012 9.2 and have the same trouble.
I try an look for many solution and I remove my ssd and put it in an external hd interface and my macbook restart and seems to work well. so I presume that the problem come from the interface between my ssd and my computer... may be the cable that connect it... I'm going to change it and let you know....
May be same things for you.
Good luck.
I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro with exactly the same problem, started just after the 10.12.5 Sierra update, have removed drive and it boots fine in another Mac. Tried the other Mac HD in the 2012 and it does the same so not a HD problem.
For anyone interested I had the same problem with my mid 2012 mbp and fixed it by replacing the flex cable that connects the hard drive to logic board, a cheap part and easy to replace, I used one from a 2009 mbp, so assume they are all compatible 2009 thru 2012
