iPad stuck on home screen and then keeps resetting

iPad is stuck on the home screen and keeps resetting by itself. Screen will sometimes turn black and white apple logo.

I've restarted it/reset it multiple times.

Please help!!!

Note: before this all happened I tried to update the apple software on the iPad.
