Does iCloud for Windows allow me to bypass open...

Does iCloud for Windows allow me to bypass opening iCloud folders on (sometimes very slow) Firefox, or do I still go through my browser to get to the cloud?

With iCloud for Windows installed, you get a new iCloud Drive folder in Windows explorer which lets you access iCloud as a regular windows folder.

 

There will also be an iCloud Photo Library in Windows Explorer for access to that same feature in iCloud.com.
