How to verify with Two

I reinstalled iOS in Safe Mode as my annual purge of * on my phone, and installed iOS 10. I have to "verify" with "another iCloud device". My 2014 Macbook does not show verification message. I resurrected my 2008 mac pro an it's no help either. Neither are iCloudy enough, I guess. Any idea how to verify an iPhone if Apple won't use you iCloud devises??

PS "You are not allowed to create or update this content" -- I get this every time I post

"Reinstalled iOS in Safe Mode"? What does that mean. iPhone's don't have a safe mode. Do you mean you booted your computer in safe mode to reinstall software on your iPhone? Why?

I signed in to this at work and apparently this PC at work is an "iCloud device" i guess. When I signed in to this discussions it sent a 5 digit number to my phone. I think that was another 2 device verification? I didn't use that 6 digit pass code, but I posted this content here -- and when I pressed "ok" on my phone it's still waiting for verification,,,

The 2FA verification code is a six digit number.

No the phone was in safe mode.

I do not know how to get this 6-digit 2FA verification to appear -- they make it seem as though it should appear mysteriously on another iCloud device, but it does not.
