Video Editing on MacBook Pro (2017)

I'm planning on getting the base model, no touch bar MacBook Pro 2017. I'm just wondering if it is good enough for video editing with softwares such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve. I have no plans of doing any heavy editing such as 4K or videos that are very long, I'm just going to do colour grading and edit videos that are at least less than 20 minutes.

I think new MacBook Pro is capable of taskings you mentioned.

Just make sure you have maxed out the RAM.

As long as you max the memory out, it should be fine. Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro were demoed on a touch-bar MBP when they were first introduced, and about the only real difference between them and a non-touch bar MBP is the touch bar.

If anything, they should be even more capable now with Kaby Lake under the hood.
