8 GB of RAM is usually sufficient but all of those third-party apps that you are running on your Mac will cause the performance issues you are seeing.

 

My first recommendation is to remove Avast or any type of anti-virus application from your Mac, especially those that run in "background." They are not needed and they consume a lot of system resources.

 

The second recommendation is to remove CleanMyMac.

 

Finally, remove all of the extensions that you have running in Chrome. Only add back the ones you really need or use.
