How to unlock mac from find my iphone

I believe that my iCloud account was hacked and someone entered Find my IPhone without my permission. I believe they locked certain devices such as my mac and put a message there telling me to send money to a specific place. I read about a hack such as this before. I have since regained my access to my iCloud account and have promptly changed my password. However, when I go to Find my iPhone and click on my macbook air, the options to "lock" and and "erase mac" are both grayed out. I think this is because when you put the device into lost mode it gives you a password, which I think the hacker has and I don't. Does anyone know if there is a way to unlock my macbook air with only access to Find my IPhone and iCloud?
