CBS All Access 1

I just signed up for a 1-week free all access on the CBS app, but once I completed it I was charged on my AppleID account $6.54 for 1 month.  Why am I being charged when it's supposed to be 1 week free?  I will be cancelling it after the free time is up.  Not thrilled here.
