How can I access the notes I made in the notes ...

Hello, to make a long story short I owned a 2012 13 inch macbook pro and it died on me and won't start up. I don't know what the issue is and nor do I have the money to get it fixed but I do suspect it was a gpu or logic board issue. It used to give me issues with booting before but I was able to remedy this by plugging out the battery from the logicboard for awhile (about an hour or a few) then pluging it back in and it would start. The issue now is I get no boot out of it and just a white light on the front side of it that flickers when I push the power button then fizzles out, this is the white light that normally would stay on when the macbook is powered up.

With that said, I plan on getting a windows laptop since it is cheaper then a new macbook and I know I will need some sort of HDD/Sata to USB adapter in order to transfer my data off of the broken mac's hardrive. However I was wondering if there was a way I can get my notes that I made in the notes app off the hardrive too? I had some information I wrote in the app I would like to retrieve and no I did not put it in icloud.

Hi,

You'll need to remove the HD, install it in an external enclosure (a cheap $10 USB one will do), connect it to another Mac, and transfer whatever data you want to the other Mac. From there you'll have to find a way to "translate" the data to a format the Windows machine can read.
